Waypoint:

Canadian Warplane Heritage

These images are part of the first phase of Waypoint, consisting of portraits of various volunteers who are at the heart of the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum in Hamilton; the museum is Canada’s largest historical flying collection. The supporting documentary images show daily life within the museum. Accompanying typological detail shots of the aircraft serve as evidence to the institutions nature as an active archive. Within the scope of the broader project this institution serves as a link between my personal archive which is a preface to the main body of work, and to connect Canada’s history to the present.
